Artwork

Like an elephant sitting atop a tent stake the oddly shaped painting hung precariously on the nail's edge as they gathered around it with their Czechoslovakian crystal wine glasses and small China plates filled high with tiny foods made from exotic animals that had no chance to run before caught and digested by overweight critics who wore too much cologne and watched porn alone in penthouse apartments they leased to impress the rest of the world who in fact could care less about their indulgent lives spent interpreting oversized modern art pieces hanging on small nails.

Mark Rosenblum—a New York native who now lives in Southern California—misses the taste of real pizza and good deli food. His work has been featured in Mindprints, Tiferet, AlienSkin Magazine, Boston Literary Magazine, Everyday Fiction, Eclectic Flash, Pure Slush, Nanoism and PicFic.
